Kevin & Angela Taylor, Owners

Kevin & Angela Taylor resides in Kirkland, WA., with sons Paul (9) and Joseph (7).

Kevin and Angela grew up in Redmond, WA., and attended Redmond High School ('88), '(90) and Washington State University ('93), ('94), where they were also members of the Greek System, Theta Chi Fraternity & Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority.

Angela (Ferrelli) Taylor, (daughter to Efeste Owners Dan and Helen), participated in all the sports programs she could while contributing at the family Dry Cleaners, Daniel's Cleaners throughout Junior High and High School. After a wonderful experience at WSU, she went on to work for Elgin/Syferd DDB Advertising Agency, for over 10 years as a Media Supervisor.

Kevin spent his summers as a young man playing baseball for Redmond All-Stars, Burgermaster, Cadman and DOW. He grew up working at Cadman, a family owned company for 44 years. Kevin's grandfather, Thor Magnussen purchased Cadman Gravel in 1946. Kevin spent many summers working in the "pit" running the various heavy machinery necessary to make concrete.

The business grew over the years, especially after Thor brought on his son-in-law Paul Jeffery Taylor in 1968. Paul married Karen Magnussen in 1964. They had children Kristi, Kevin and Kelli. Paul and Karen attended WSU where Paul pitched for the Cougars, graduating in 1966. After a short lived career as a much loved P.E. teacher and coach, he went on to fill various positions at Cadman and to later running the company for 20 years, until its sale in 1990.

Much to his family's delight, Kevin went to WSU in '88. It was there that he made the many life-long friends he still has today. He graduated with a business degree and went straight to work!

Kevin went to WSU knowing construction would be the path he would follow after school. He became a partner of Red E Trucking and Topsoil. Within that line of work, he found that he had interest in land development. He then went on to start Taylor Development Inc in 1995. The business has grown from single family homes, to town home and condominiums, office parks, and commercial listings.

Although work keeps him busy, Kevin regularly enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and loves nothing more when the NFL season begins. Home life continues to get busier and louder with two growing boys in grammar school along with their swimming, soccer, basketball, football and baseball. Kevin and his dad Paul Sr. enjoyed coaching young Paul's Kirkland Baseball team in the spring in.

Married for 13 years, and together since high school, Kevin and Angela look forward to the winery as an exciting addition to their life. They see it as an opportunity to spend time together during harvest, crush, bottling and various wine events throughout the year.
