January 13th, 6-8pm - Culinary Class

Efeste invites you to an evening cooking class led by Barking Frog's Chef Bobby Moore. This class covers the preparation of cassoulet, a traditional dish from Southern France. Winemaker Brennon Leighton will be on hand as wine guide and Bobby's helper for the night. Be prepared for an informative evening with delightful food and wine, and a recipe you can easily recreate at home. 6-8pm, space is limited to 25 people, cost is $50 and includes wine and food.

January 14th, 6-8:30pm - Winemaker Dinner at Dish it Up

Join Chef John Neumark of Sarafina and our Winemaker Brennon Leighton at "Dish it Up" in Magnolia from 6-8:30 for an evening of perfectly paired wine and Italian cuisine. The event will not only serve great food and wine, but show you how to make the food and how to pair wine with it.

January 16th, 6:30 - Winemaker Dinner at the
Oceanaire Seafood Room

Chef Eric Donnelly and Winemaker Brennon Leighton invite you for an evening dinner with a sneak peek at the 2008 Evergreen Vineyard Riesling, and Feral Sauvignon Blanc, as well as tastings of 2005 Ceidleigh Syrah and 2005 Final Final Cabernet Syrah blend. This five course dinner with wonderful wine pairings will be presented at the Oceanaire Seafood Room. We would love to have you taste a sneak peek of what is to come and enjoy some wonderful food especially created for this event.

January 20th - Winemaking Dinner at the Barking Frog

Barking Frog's executive Chef Bobby Moore and Efeste Winemaker Brennon Leighton unite to create a spectacular dinner that's sure to make your taste buds tingle. Dinner is being held at the Willows Lodge in Woodinville. It's never too early to plan ahead and reserve a seat at this wonderful food extravaganza. Space is limited to 20 people.

January 22nd , 6-8:30- New Vintage Taste and Tour at Efeste Winery

Come sample our new vintages, take a tour of our winery and eat some tasty treats with Winemaker Brennon Leighton. We'll discuss what goes into making a wine, why we choose certain vineyards and how this relates to the meaning terroir. 6-8:30pm, $20 per person, space is limited to 50 people.

Feel like becoming part of our winemaking team? We'll be bottling our '08 Whites (Evergreen Riesling, Feral Sauvignon Blanc, and Babbitt Rose) along with our '07 Reds (Ceidleigh Syrah, and Jolie Bouche Syrah).

February 7th, 3-7pm - "Washington Wines Rock!!" Wine Event

Many wineries, one location: Sparkman Cellars, Efeste Wines, K Vintners, and Sleight of Hand. Swing by Efeste from 3-7 for samples from each winery, good eats, live music and some pre-release tasting. This should be a fun event! $25 per person. Limited to 300 people. Buy your tickets soon, or you might miss out on the fun. All proceeds benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Space is running low, but tickets may still be purchased at the door.

February 14th, 6pm - Valentine's Day Dinner

Do something new for Valentine's Day! Reserve your seats now for an unforgettable evening at Efeste. Wonderful food prepared by Chef George Stevenson combined with Efeste wines will tantalize your senses. Enjoy conversation around a family style setting with wines from both the old and new releases. $125 per person, space is limited to 60 people. Seating at 6pm.
