EFESTĒ Wines:
An integral value at EFESTĒ is to honor the beauty of art – the craft of winemaking included – and great artists such as Picasso, Van Gogh, Beethoven, and Shakespeare. A powerful facet of all memorable works of art is in the exquisiteness that arises from its inherent imperfections. So too "great wines are perfectly flawed" to create an identity and lasting impression.

2008 Big Papa Cabernet Sauvignon
Mature vines with deep, established roots, struggle and naturally produce fewer clusters with smaller berries that ripen slower.
We found using older, prominent vineyards brings an extra dimension of complexity and polish to this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon...
2009 Jolie Bouche Syrah
Dick Boushey’s vineyard has been growing some of the most incredible Syrah for many years. With higher elevations and cooler climate the syrah from his vineyard is very unique to Washington.
2008 Ceidleigh Syrah
Ceidleigh 2009 will be released in the fall of 2011.
Our “Ceidleigh” Syrah (pronounced kay-Lee) is made entirely from Red Mountain grapes.
The wine is inky with ripe plum and dried cherries balanced around a wonderful aroma of earth after a morning rain.
2010 Lola Chardonnay
Lola is named after the darling granddaughter of the Ferrelli family. Made from 100% Chardonnay from a high elevation, cool vineyard. The wine is beautiful and restrained with lovely floral notes and racy acidity.
Fermented with indigenous yeast, it took nearly 7 months to finish fermentation with bi-weekly batonage and lees contact. This is far from the fat, oaky, buttery Chardonnay one has come to expect. Just like a new child in the world, this is the birth of an old though made new about what Chardonnay can be.
2008 Final-Final Red Blend
Our goal in blending two noble wine grapes together is to acquire the best attributes of each varietal and marry them in a complimentary and seamless way.
Cabernet Sauvignon is the foundation of this wine, adding power, structure, richness, grip, and complexity. Syrah brings generous, juicy, ripe flavors and a spicy nature...
2010 Babbitt Rosé
Named after a family friend who appreciated his Rosé, this wine was made from 100% Syrah grapes, and fermented in stainless steel to retain the distinct fruit character...
2010 Feral
Feral Sauvignon Blanc is made using native, wild yeast for fermentation. Native fermentation occurs when no commercial yeast is added to the pressed juice.
I find that wine best shows varietal character and terroir when using ambient yeast. This wine was fermented in French Oak barrels, which had seen two previous vintages...
2010 Evergreen Riesling
Available for purchase from our tasting room.
Evergreen Vineyard is our favorite source for Riesling grapes. The cooler climate of this vineyard site is a result of Evergreen’s higher elevation, and proximity to the Columbia River, which are excellent conditions for this varietal.
Riesling grapes naturally ripen later in the growing season, which contributes to the complex aroma and character...
2008 Tough Guy Bordeaux
Located on the bench of the Westernmost section of the Red Mountain AVA is Klipsun Vineyard. Klipsun is probably the most respected vineyard in Washington, named by Wine and Spirits Magazine as one of the top 25 vineyards in the world. It is a typically warm site and produces wines that are fruit forward with tons of concentration and power.
2009 Eleni
Club Only
Red Willow is a very special vineyard on some of the oldest soils in the state, and this Syrah is the oldest planted block in Washington. Its steep, Southwestern slope, with very rocky soils and great drainage produces beautiful fruit from immensely strong vines.
2009 Emmy
Club Only
This Mouvedre, Syrah blend comes from one of our favorite vineyard sites in Washington. Situated on the slope of the Saddle Mountains with rocky slopes and thin soils, Stone Tree produces very intense wines.
