Angela’s Share | Bellevue Club Reflections Feature

We’re so excited to share a special feature on our very own Angela Taylor in Reflections, the Bellevue Club magazine. Angela’s journey is the kind of story that makes you believe in the power of passion, dedication, and, of course, family.

Though Angela didn’t set out to make wine, she grew up surrounded by it. Her family’s winemaking history dates all the way back to Prohibition, when “Big Papa” Daniel Ferrelli’s family sold garage wine to survive after immigrating to Chicago, eventually continuing the tradition Westward to Walla Walla and Seattle. Throughout the years, winemaking has continued to be a full family affair, with Angela’s husband Kevin Taylor joining in back when they were young Redmond High School sweethearts.

Years later after a family trip to Australia, leaving behind Kevin and Daniel to another round of garage winemaking, the decision to start a winery was born—one that began as a two-barrel “side project” but quickly grew into something much bigger. With Angela at the helm, EFESTĒ has flourished, producing award-winning wines and becoming a true family business.

What really stands out in this feature is Angela’s incredible resilience and love for her family. She’s the kind of leader who runs things with heart, constantly learning, evolving, and guiding the team—making sure that EFESTĒ is not just a business, but a legacy built on family, perseverance, and a whole lot of great wine.
