Amidst laughter and camaraderie, someone raised a toast to the “final-final” glass—the blend that finally met our high standards. The Wine
The 2019 Final-Final Red Blend is a harmonious 50/50 combination of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our minimalist approach to producing this wine, using indigenous yeast during fermentation and not filtering or fining, adds to the “purity of fruit” and gives us a complex and delicious wine. Sourced from some of the best vineyards from the Columbia Valley AVA, including our own Taylor Mag Estate Vineyard. This wine showcases the best of what Wa Wines has to offer.
Tasting Notes:
The ’19 Final-Final has hints of mocha and cacao on the nose, complemented by herbaceous scents of rosemary. The palate is rich with bloody and leathery notes, accented by candied cherry and boysenberry jam flavors. The Cabernet Sauvignon from Taylor Mag Vineyard shines through in the long and generous finish, making it a perfect pairing with your favorite meats.
